Milford House Museum

Milford House Collection took part in Armagh Georgian Festival in 2018 fir the first time and it was a huge success. This year the house opened over three days Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th. Georgian House tours were a huge sellout. Visitors met Mr. Alexander Ross and Miss Leverne Cust (played by Stephen McManus & Mary Lester) who entertained them about life in Armagh in 1786 followed by a house tour.

In the evenings visitors enjoyed the twilight tour which themed on the techology for which Milford House was famous for.

Georgian afternoon teas in the Dining Room were sold out within one week of going on sale in October and we have had rave reviews. Guests were instructed on the art of partaking of the tea served in original 1780s silver and china  by Mr. Ross who conversed with them about eighteenth century life. This was followed by a house tour. On Saturday Mr. Ross was joined by Mrs. Hunt and her daughter Miss Hunt (from the Armagh Living History Company) who conversed with guests about Miss Hunt's forthcoming marriage.
