The main reception room in Milford House which overlooks the Pleasure Gardens and the fountain. The decoration of blue, gold with lighter blue on the ceiling and the lincrusta above the picture rail.matches theoriginal Milford House decoration. The curtains are from the State Entrance Hall of Hillsborough Castle. The magnificent  chandeliers are three of the original four chandeliers that were in Milford House Drawing Room and are by Everard and Co of Lewisham. Since Milford was the first in the country to have hydroelectricity this makes these chandeliers  the earliest electric light fittings in Ireland! The beautiful paintings Fby artisits including Frederick Goodall and Daniel Sherrin match those that were collected by R.G McCrum.
